They named it after the country they found it in, Afghanistan. Since then, deposits have been found in Canada, Russia, Tajikistan, Germany, Italy, and the United States. Afghanite is rare and vibrates at a very high frequency, assisting in mental clarity.
Soft blue makes this a soothing stone to hold while meditating. It activates the third eye so that you can see within and awaken intuition. It brings clarity to problem-solving and assists in standing your ground.
